When you book an appointment, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, service selection, appointment date and time, notes, and pickup or drop-off address when requested. Notes may contain health, skin, allergy, sensitivity or accessibility information that you choose to share.

When you use the contact form, the website prepares an email in your email application using the contact details and message you entered. You choose whether to send that email.

How information is used

Systems used to process bookings

The booking system uses Google Apps Script and may use Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive and Gmail to check availability, create appointment records, send confirmations and prepare invoices. Address suggestions may use Google Maps services or public address-search services when enabled.

Your browser may retain a local copy of booking details so the website can prevent conflicting selections on the same device. You can clear this information through your browser's site-data settings.

Service providers outside Canada

Some technology providers, including Google services used for booking, calendar, email, files and address features, may process or store information in the United States or other countries where they operate. They are authorized to process information only for the booking, communication, file, security and support purposes described in this policy. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that country.

Sharing and retention

Information is shared only with providers and service platforms reasonably required to operate the booking, communication, direct-billing and record-keeping processes. Strathcona Wellness does not sell personal information.

Your choices

Do not include information in the booking notes that is not needed for your appointment. If you prefer not to use online booking, call or text to discuss another booking method.

Safeguards and privacy concerns

Strathcona Wellness uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including restricted administrative access and passwords kept outside public website files.
